Participants About Us
Without any modesty we can assure you that people that visit Slovenia want to return. Take a look at impressions of your fellow students, visitors of the International Week Ljubljana
Liis Jaagant, Estonia:
IW Slovenia was the BEST WEEK in my life. I liked very much Postojnska jama aka the Cave, I haven’t seen anything like this before. Bled is also very nice town and in fact everything in Slovenia is worth seeing and visiting. New interesting people and new beautiful places, different kinds of parties (festival, pubs, nightclubs) – this was IW Slovenia for me and I won’t forget this week :)
Solomija Zahray, Ukraine:
Olena and I had some difficulties by getting to Slovenia but I can honestly say that it was worth the trouble:) The IW was very informative. Not only because of getting information about the economic life of this country, but also because it unreached my knowledge of the culture of the country, its sightseeing, I really found some quite interesting information about the history and development of Slovenia.
And of course this IW was s great possibility to meet different people from all around the world :) All of the participants got a great chance to introduce their country.
This IW had a very interesting programme, so we had some educational units, but also a lot of fun and party. So, my compliments to the organization teem. Good job guys.!!!
I list it as the best IW ever!:)
Olga Bizina, Estonia:
It was a really great week, kind of “once in a lifetime experience”. All participants were great, i don`t know whether it is so all the time, or i was just lucky??;D Although it`s really hard to organize such thing as IW, you guys managed it, so THANK YOU ALL!!!
Ronald Jesorsky, Germany:
…I only can repeat my prespeakers. Hey you people from Slovenia, you organized a damn cool week for us. I really appreciate that!…
Jenni Vähätiitto, Finland:
Thank you, thank you, thank you all… that week was probably the best week of my whole year! :) So coool.
Priit Tiganik, Estonia:
Firstly I must point out that this was my first International Week. And I truly enjoyed it :D I wouldn’t like to describe all the events that took place (because I could write about 3 books out of this material) but to tell you what the week gave me.
Now, some days after the ending, I feel really refreshed. That’s because whole 7 days passed in the way that I really didn’t think about school, work and other duties I left behind.
I could practice my english. At the start it was really hard to put the words in order and to speak them out, but at the end, I think, I got quite good. So it gave me skills and confidence in English.
Also, now I know a lot of Slovenia. To learn about other countries was the third reason why I wanted to participate in this program. And of course because of all the new people I got knowing.
You really can’t underestimate the importance of the contacts IW gives you. Now I have friends and I am welcome in all the participating countries, no doubt :)
Ania Bomba, Poland:
Slovenia is a small and very nice country. IW in Ljubljana was great and crazy, and I really appreciate that I could participate in this event! Nice people, beatufil towns, what else do you need?
And where else can you experience Sex in the disabled toilet? (;
HiroYokokawa, Japan:
IW is always fantastic and crazy but I think IW Ljubljana was the best because the number of participants and organizers was not that big so it was very easy to get to know each other!
Also, the whole country was full of beautiful places to see such as Bled and Postojnska Jama.
Anyway, I still think the days in Ljubljana was the craziest time in my whole life. Thanks again!!!
